I'm DJing Kinkoras (our Mo's tavern from Simpson's according to Maverick) I'll be playing great tunes from 9 til close. Hope to see you there.

Wow, what an incredible waste of my time. I wasn't all that much in the mood to go out in the first place, but I took a bus downtown anyway, got there at 10:30 to see a few guys setting up a mixer and a CD player. Where were you?

if you need some entertainment in this dull town try prison bitch night at the rebar. although somehow i don't see any people that like brit pop fitting in. however, it is very entertaining. i have never seen so many big tits and gold teeth lesbians mixed with hustlers, queens and white girls in one room.

Rosie, I think I would be too scared. Speaking of being scared... I still have your video. I cannot digitize it without a VCR. Ack! I need to borrow a VCR. Tonight is going to be fun. My favorite DJ is at Kincora's!

No offense McC but I had some homework to do that I would have gotten done last night if I'd had the preknowledge you were doing it tonight. Instead last night it was 3 hours of being on a bus or waiting for one. The strange truth is it was a particularly bad bus ride as far as bus rides go. For several reasons, but mainly because I had to hear a particularly anguished conversation by two people in front of me that bothered me but I knew it wasn't my business to speak. I worry that I was supposed to speak out and didn't. I dunno man, it just bothered me. Perhaps I should learn to take heed of what sign the moon is in. Moon in Leo doesn't always agree with me so well. Particularly if the Sun is in a fire sign. My bag, man.

If you DJ again, I'll probably be able to be there. Just give some notice eh?

I take it back about that conversation I heard on the bus, though. Surely it wasn't my place to interject into their conversation. I don't think guilt is warranted.

Also, just for the record, I can't see why Fila Brazillia (I found out it's two L's) sound too Brazilian to you. They don't sound Brazillian to me. 2 guys from the UK. They're just really weird, really inventive. Like Layo & Bushwacka, but more mellowed out and original. Like chill out soft jazz trip-hop electronic phat phunk with samples, classically. Fila Brazillia are genius. I had no idea.

They have an album called "Luck Be A Weirdo Tonight", that title being a variation of the song from the old Broadway musical Guys & Dolls called "Luck Be A Lady Tonight". I just love the fact that they try even with their record sleeves and song titles to be absolutely as weird as they can manage. Some of their music is delightfully weird too.

So at last call or a little bit after it was only h., Amanda, Sloth and me....but oh yeah, also Rosie was there with her boyfriend, but she refused to say hello, was a total bitch to the sloth (and anyone who knows sloth, it just ain't right to be mean to the guy- he being so laid back and nice) and wouldn't even look at us. So the question has to be asked..why show at all? Who cares.

i missed it. my friend frank was dj'ing at the comet last night. in fact, frank was dj'ing at kincora on some saturdays while you were gone, mccutcheon. are you going to be doing this every saturday?

i show up because i own kincoras. my friends and i have been going there almost every night(nothing to brag about) so why should i change my day?
seattle is so small and i am not about to be phony.
i had a great night . i am sure if i were to say hi i would be greeted as i am on this web site so i prefer to be anonymous in the bar.
