Sorry I don't want to interrupt the other thread, I just want to say how much I love, and continue to love Nico. When I'm really irrevocably drunk, beyond-insane drunk, there's only a few things I always pull out: The Beatles, Lou Reed's "Take No Prisoners" (his stand up comedian album), The Replacements (most likely "Let It Be") and....Nico. If any of these CD's are found to be out when I wake up, then I know I don't remember much of the previous evening. But my point is, these are the things very close to my heart that I never tire of. If I'm bored with everything else, I need only pull out Nico. I'm even more likely to pull her solo stuff out than the Velvet Underground.

And yes I know she was a junkie, and introduced her son to smack, we can talk morals all day but in the end, I still love her records.

Also it's worth mentioning she actually recorded TWO SONGS WITH LEGENDARY FACTORY RECORDS JOY DIVISION PRODUCER MARTIN HANNETT PRODUCING!!!!

I love Nico.. 
Moreso than Kate Bush, though (before Marky attacks or never drunk dials me again lol) Kate is also amazing.
