No, actually I didn't! Thanks for the news.

I recently found a BBC 6 Radio programme (which you can listen to on the web anytime) that is broadcasting an old Peel session each time a show is done. The show itself is actually not that bad, either - they kindof mix up music from different decades.

New Order performed "Warsaw" in London

Post by marky »

Does anyone here know that New Order did a set of 6 Joy Division songs for the Peel Day gig TWO OF WHICH WERE FUCKING 'WARSAW' AND 'SHADOWPLAY'???? THAT'S RIGHT! THEY PLAYED FUCKING "WARSAW"!!!!!!! THEY ROCKED OUT COMPLETELY!!! And it must be seen on video to be believed:

only I can't find the link for it and I think they took it down. :(

Peter says "Let's Do This One For Ian, Lads" it is completely punk rock and it makes you want to smash guitars into speakers.

Okay okay I found the link now but I had to go to my other computer, it was not easy to find:

You need to have Quicktime software to view it. If you don't have quicktime you can download it free here:

Don't worry about whether you have a apple mac computer or not, it doesn't matter.
