I think this is the best album of the year so far.

Anybody else got it?

Anybody else want it?

there's one song they play on the radio that makes me want the album. I'm sure if it's the one played on the radio, you probably don't like that one, but I still want the album all the same. It seems to fit in the Franz-Ferdinand/Killers genre, which I like lately, but am not so eloquent asmarky as to say why. I just like them. Marky, please explain for me, if you can.

They also have a song that song that sounds like the Strokes... apparently a lot of bands and people don't like them... and there are rumors that they are a pre-fab boyband.... but the music speaks for itself.

The lead singer is serving a Morrissey reincarnate look.

There's a great mix by Superdiscount of 'A Honest Mistake'. It's really good...and available on Itunes.

Changing bands-how great is 'VHS or Beta'???
I just downloaded a song called Night on Fire. They are the Cure for the new generation. The song was also remixed by the 'Brooklyn Fire'-who also remixed the Yeah yeah yeah's song 'y control'. Both are amazing.....

So listen to-
VHS or Beta-Night on Fire (original and remixes-there are a few)
Y Control-Yeah yeah yeah's (Brooklyn Fire Retouch)
If I'm making any sense, then I haven't made myself clear.

So you are trying to say that Morrissey is "comical in a odd or whimsical manner"?

Good use of that 'word of the day' calendar you got for Christmas Mike.

Well, thank you Thomas. I surely wouldn't want to let such a fine stocking stuffer go to waste. And it's mYke, sir.

But ... I can rephrase if you wish. Oh, alright. You convinced me. And I never like to dissappoint.

How's this:

Morrissey = BORING.

&

People who shed a tear at Morrissey concerts = Melodramatic

Somehow you think that I take personally any attack against Morrissey.

It really does not bother me what you think about him...I merely commented on your use of the word 'droll' to describe him. It was a ...'interesting' choice of word. No doubt you impressed everyone...and I'm sure it took a long time to come up with...I hacked into paxacidus and went back to the ORIGINAL post you made-and then edited. It read-

"well GOLLY gosh....uh uh...dat Morrissey man...well he SURE IS kinda boring and stuff....UHHH...I done did listen to ah one of his sungs da other daay-and it ah sure did not a sound like nothing dat gooood. Well-I best be gittin back to ah my hayfield...it ah sure needs some fixin. uh huh-I best be goin-y'all have a good day now-ya hear?"

Wow. I'm surely impressed with not only your faux hacker skills but your attempts to downgrade me personally go way beyond my one use of the word droll, boring, and/or melodramatic.

As such, if you really want to 'bring it on' I mean Mr. Stewart, please feel free to do so at your leisure. I'm more than capable of going toe to toe with you. It might get ugly but that's surely ok by me. I can take it (as long as you don't bite me with those buckteeth of yours). Can you?
