his personality is "a combination of pervy extroversion and armchair philosophizing" and is unfortunately, according to the review, missing from this album.

One of my former's said his voice sounded like a chipmunk and he danced like an arthritic -- great! My kind of guy.

I don't know how so many guys can hate dave matthews and yet the DMB is one of the hugest bands in the states.

I guess most of the buyers are women? And they have really bad taste in music? Or is it just bad taste in men?

there is a certain type of man that likes the mathews but i guess they don't have them down south, me , i've gotten a bit turned off to dave. i had "everyday" and didn't like it. it was produced by the great glen ballard but a little heavy on electric guitar riffs that ain't that good. they were trying to do something different. best dave album is "before these crowded streets" some say every dave matthews song sounds the same but that's because they created their own style...

Tommy once stood behind Dave in a check out line. If you go to the pub with Tommy (like I have numerous times) he will tell you all about it.

I'm kidding. I don't know what kind of man likes Dave or woman for that matter. I know frat boys are associated with Dave. I wouldn't know. I've never hung out with frat boys and I've been to a lot of his shows. I think that's a bunch of stereotypical crap.

The new album's okay.

so I was going to plant my new bulbs today, but we're having a rain storm, so I'm coming up with reasons I like Dave (his new album was produced by a guy who works with 50 cent, no that's not it)

Dave Matthews likes women.

Just like Matisse.

It is right out there -- women, great! Sex, healthy and great! Broke my heart a few times, sucks. I'll have a beer and then have a woman and it'll be great!

he writes about getting it on, he writes about why war stinks, he writes about how nice the world is, he even writes weird songs that sound like lullabies, but mean who knows what. He quotes ecclesiastes and he wrote about mary when she got preggers. He talks about fish and monkeys. He did some weird thing with the blue man group. He's terrible, he's horrible, he's great.

Dave Matthews is tremendously, popularly, kitsch and as un-cool as it gets, which is why I like Dave Matthews.

While his missus was studying at Bastyr in Seattle. He chose to live in the most ordinary house in the Wallingford district. He had no security or cronies or personal chefs or trainers. He went to the same local gym as my friend. He even did his own shopping down the supermarket - I'll tell you about it down the pub. For all that I applaud him. I just can't seem to enjoy his music though.
