What the fuck is going on here? Why is this bloke making these lists? Why no mention of his top thirteen albums? Or his least favourite albums in reverse order.

Stop making fucking lists for christ's sake.

Tell him I need to know what was the 11th best gig he went to in 2004. Did he use a different set of criteria from the ratings for 2003?

He is the music editor for the London Times. He gets paid to make these lists.

I told him to go work for a respectable newspaper but he said all the jobs at NME were filled.

He forgot "it's beyond our control" by Campag Velocet, the best album of '04.

are those fuckers still around? Now there is a band Kasabian should kiss.

And I'm trying to find Weekender on vinyl? Any help?

Play weekender and the first big weekend by Arab Stap and you too can think your youth was not mispent, but rather drunk away.

I'm going to the pub. who wants to go? I'll be holding up the bar and playing the jukebox at Paddy R's. 29th and 2nd. I mean it is 9:43 in the morning. Time is running out.

I'd like to say the offer is tempting but I'm nursing a wicked whiskey hangover, maybe in an hour or two. Will you be stopping by Canada?
