Thanks, Tragic, (look, what do you want to be called, TP was derogatory, not on purpose, but then I was like fuck, that sounds really bad -- I hate typing out Tragic Pixie because like you I am a lazy lady at heart. So what's it going to be?) the roads are fine -- sunshine, sunshine, sunshine!!
Ballets -- fantastic, I love them -- is the Little Match Girl a play, ballet or musical? I can't remember. It was one of my first theatre experiences. It made me cry
I smoked about ten ciggies this morning, so what can I say. I'll throw up the French toast sticks if you smoke my pack
Sobering up on a Saturday morning -- good title.

I went to see the musical Oliver! last week. It was good fun. I couldn't get over the fact that the lead was only nine years old. He was great.
At the interval, my sister in law heard a guy moaning that the tickets should have been cheaper seeing as half the cast were only kids. You can't make this shit up.
In other news....Pax people stop smoking. My almost perfect run as the angel of death continues. Briefly, the story is this. Everybody I know who does not give up smoking gets a very serious or fatal smoking related illness. Parents, uncles etc Last week a good friend got opened up and closed back up because his heart was in too bad shape to do the bypass. Basically he is waiting around to die. (Exercise is limited to fourteen minutes spent on his feet per day. His speech is slurred and his lower legs throb with pain.) So I leave it up to you all to decide if posting here means that I "know" you. Just take it from me, if you smoke and I know you then you are fucked. This shit is getting fucking old as far as I am concerned. Please don't write in with those tales along the lines of "my granded smoked ten thousand a day between pints of heroin and he lived to be four thousand." Lucky fucking you.

TP is fine but you know - whatever. Tragic or Pixie is fine. As I think I'm the only tragic or pixie that posts around here ... lmao
As long as I can figure out it's supposed to be me I'm ok with it.
I dunno about the ballet/musical you listed, haven't seen or heard of it. I'll do some research; probably when I'm less depressed and antisocial - my friends bullshit puts me in a rather lathargic and sour mood, and avoiding them makes me lonely. What's a girl to do?

depressed, lethargic and sour mood -- been there. Maybe just talk, huh? I don't know -- I'm not an answer girl, maybe more of a question one, you know.
I don't think you're being antisocial -- I mean this is a social activity -- it's not a traditional activity, but this is 2005 and it's a pretty modern one.
As Tommy sort of pointed out you are talking to real people, so that's a social activity. Albeit you're not happy with the people in the room with you, but I mean, you seem to be pretty happy here, so there you go. It's something.

I dunno. I'm going to gay club tonight - because well... my gay boyfriend is in love with the president of it and wants his number.
And if my parents call me one more time - I'm gonna throw my cell phone out the window. I loathe cell phones. (yes that was off topic but my father just called me and insisted that his time was more valuable than mine; and procedded to say nothing really except tell me I was not going to move when I AM moving for about ten minutes... I'm going to need a run thank the gods it's warmed up)

didn't we all once vote and decide that TP must show her titties for all the board to see?

I didn't vote for that. Tragic, they are yours -- you do what you want with them. I keep mine covered, and I've been to Mardi Gras -- a lot.
What is going on with the debate on "to shut pax down or not?"

Good god. This thread took some interesting detours since I left it. First off I won't comment on smoking because Tommy sums up my opinion. I even avoid the smoke on the street when others are doing it. I can't help it.
Secondly, Pixie this was a real good one:
And if my parents call me one more time - I'm gonna throw my cell phone out the window. I loathe cell phones.
If those were the only available words for my epitaph, I think I'd still be a lucky man.
Hang in there, Pixie. You have something to contribute to the world, I'm sure of it.
