well I certainly do feel sympathy -- i taught in a catholic school in LA -- it was great, enlightening, and really strange
The cool thing about it -- vacation days at Mardi Gras -- and we had a parade -- but yuppie types, I guess. The kids were from wealthy families, now I teach poor kids -- I prefer that, but that's where I come from and that's why i prefer it. The coolest thing about the Catholics that I met -- they drink like fucking fish -- and they curse like sailors -- even the nuns, I was like HOLY SHIT!! but these are LA Catholics, and they were conservative in politics and liberal in behavior -- they also had some weird Bronx ? Boston accent that completely baffled me at first. I thought they were some strange colony -- turns out it's just some form of their dialect Oh -- Mary Landreau is a kick ass LA woman -- she was on CNN or CSPAn or some boring ass channel, making it not so boring and knocking my fucking socks off -- great, sexy, southern voice and the devil may care attitude -- oh, that there were more women like her and she's even a little stout.
Sleeping with Republicans -- I've done that. It was good sex, probably because we fought a lot -- something about weird chemistry and opposites i guess. He went on to be rich -- I said no thanks. I still miss him, politics are not the end all be all, I think it was his tolerance of intolerable ignorance or maybe it was the social climbing, or maybe I don't know -- I love him I wish him well, and I don't regret the sex -- it was delicious, of all the things in relationships to regret, that's usually last on my list -- but I guess I could regret it if he and I had been different people -- I mean there was a tremendous amount of friendship and respect.
Tent boys -- you know I've slept in a tent with boys, but that was it, no smoochie doochie
yes, the blue period is sad and pretty -- I like the sketches -- I guess they are called that -- simple and colorful -- if taste was a Rorschach test, hmm that would be interesting.
Sheltered little clones -- I don't know what to say about that --
