I'm getting too old for this

Post by TragicPixie »

The combination of ephedra and cafeine isn't a good one. In fact, it's really stupid - it leads to shakiness and chest pains. Why I thought an iced mocha was a good idea an hourish after taking the pills I'll never know.
But I'm getting too old for this bullshit. I'm going to have to just stop eating. It's not worth it. Why can't I be responsible and not stupid?

Ugh - I hate this.

being broke was always my best friend when I wanted to clean up my act and get my head in a book. It removes so many temptations. Exercise is the key to weight loss. Running twenty miles can give you the same sense of well being you can only get from one drag off an extremely weak joint. So there's that for an added bonus

I think exercise is very important. Running for me frees my mind the was people discribe the yoga bliss. Plus I like to sweat.

but ... you're assuming I don't exercise. lol I do though - obsessively, compulsively, probably to a point where it's not healthy anymore. If I didn't run though I would never get my mind to shut up.
Regardless of my running habit - I dance. Everyday. For hours. Ballet is hardcore.

...especially onthe knees. Every girl I know who was serious about ballet had messed up knees before she was 21. So be careful!

lol ... got it already (I'm not that far from 21). I have some rather interesting knee issues - which my obsessive running doesn't help either.

Hell yeah on the knee issue. I was pretty upset this summer when I continued to have heel pain and knee pain after trying several things to stop it. Eventually I had to give up and realize - no it ISN'T going to go away and running is NOT helping it. I felt pretty depressed to have to quit running, but I'm supposed to see a podiatrist next Fri. so we'll see.

Pixie, I don't understand where all your insecurity is coming from about your looks. Your picture posted here proves you're a lovely lady without a doubt. You really shouldn't waste your time obsessing on it so much. Live life, be happy.

I have a Frankenstein worthy scar down my right knee and expect to have another down the left in the near future. I only wish these new parts they come up with could give me bionic speed so I could make that cool sound that Lee Majors did when he ran on the 6 million dollar man.

nothin' on the knee, but i broke my talus

I get a huge novelty sized boot to hobble with weird pedestrian powers of foot intimidation-

hobbling infact makes the headbutt more effective; which i think we can all agree is the coolest strike allowed.

Ya- Do somethin' about overloading the stimulants.
fuck that shit mother fucker, fuck that shit, fuck that

As far as I am aware, Martino is our resident expert on the art of the "Glasgow Kiss." (Headbutt to the rest of you.) I will stand corrected by anything he has to say on this topic. I'm not sure how the dodgy foot helps. I was always told that to "stick the head in" good style, you need to lift up the leading foot and throw it down double fast. A club foot sounds like it would slow you down.

That's not to say that Mav wouldn't be handy with the noggin. Only a big head would post a picture of himself with three tasty birds.

...a big head, or a guy who has been in a committed relationship for like 12 years, and just likes people to see the image of himself with three birds who aren't his girlfirend...

Honesty, on the BB of BB? Shit, I could get kicked out for that.
