Big heads and the way we look

This obsession with the way we look -- it's American I guess. I don't know; I get into the check-out line at the grocery store I see scads of magazines with "beautiful" women and men, and I think we're all retarded.

A perfect magazine cover -- Andre Mason's Ophelia. It's a surrealist work -- thanks to my handy flyer I can tell you all about it: painted in 1937 it reflects both the destructive violence brought by the rise of Fascism in Europe and Europe's indifference to the violence. (Okay, that's nothing about the way it looks) --

Ophelia's head, with blue morning glories in her hair, is in the center of the pic. everything's lovely there's even a bug playing a flute, the sun's shining -- there's a cloud that looks like a profile of George Washington, and there's a lot of blue -- Ophelia is in black, and white and grey -- what I think is really interesting is the fact that the sky is green and the grass is yellow.

Actually, if magazine covers were perfect they'd be done by Bob Ross -- with a cd of his voice included.

Tragic, if you're worried about the way you look you might want to check out a Matisse -- his ladies have huge, round, everything, and he seems quite pleased by it --

But as far as huge and round let's not forget the Picasso I'm thinking of...well actually I have a few Picassos in mind.

I will stand corrected by anything he has to say on this topic. I'm not sure how the dodgy foot helps. I was always told that to "stick the head in" good style, you need to lift up the leading foot and throw it down double fast. A club foot sounds like it would slow you down.
it depends on the direction of the stike- Now the limey fish are skilled - but Capoeira (e.g) warrants infact "throwing" your head at the chode.

My style has been that of the Sully Headbang, with logic of Bruce Lee: I throw my head at a slight angle /. Then i twist and strike with my front and downish. A screwing motion, aiming an inch or two behind the chode.

A hobble is much like skipping; time the butt right and the boot becomes an accessory.

PS- Capoeira is the coolest
