Jose Cuervo, is one of the greater alcohol buzzes. How fortunate for society that it exacts the cruelest of hangovers from me. A truly rare indulgence.

I saw a lot of Red Bull consumed in London last year, and it seems to be very popular among bar/food service personnel in The States. Fortunately for the manufacturer, Red Bull is catchier than The World's Billionth Caffeine Drink.

As luck would have it on this sacred Sunday, I found a rather nice portion of Tanqueray in the pantry. To hell with those calories if I don't have to make an investment other than time. Dirty martini, two jalepeno-stuffed and one almond-stuffed olive; a frozen pond of fine gin and dry vermouth caressed by frosty, brittle glass. Damn, I love simple pleasures.

that is good.

I'm sorry Cuervo gives you a hangover -- it's weird how different liquors have differing effects -- vodka, I'm puking every time.

I have a story about Tanqueray.

A friend of mine, her mother was a raging alcoholic, they used to have these martini afternoons.

I had good christians parents and had milk afternoons. So I never saw a lot of adult activity in that regard.

Anyway, she is telling me about how great Tanqueray is, we're in this beastly bar (couldn't smoke) what kind of bar is that? And I said, let's test my taste. I'll order the cheapest gin and the best and see which one I like more. I liked the rotten shit. Didn't surprise me.

Enjoy your drink.
