I think we need to hear more stories from Tommy. Especially those ones that wouldn't need embellishment to become a movie.

I'm a shit that just got laid

Probably good advice.

Granted, coffee is my #2 drug of choice after premium herb.

It's just so goddamn pedestrian.

I haven't smoked herb in 8 months. Not from actually trying to not smoke it but just from not actually smoking it. Just being too lazy to go out and find it and talk to the kind of people who sell it.

I find I am still just as forgetful, bad spelling, slow, paranoid, socially impotent, and hungry for junk food as I was while smoking pot all day every day for 15 years. Just as I was as a kid before that.

My conclusion?

God fucking gypped me.

Where's the fucking bong?

I can relate, Sloth. I'm smoking less these days than I have in ages; not even weekly. I prefer ye olde homegrown (it ain't rocket science), but that's not a hobby I'm always on top of. Cannabis genetics are incredible now, though. Blueberry, Haze, Cindy... I love 'em all. If I lived in Seattle, I think I'd spend a lot of time in Vancouver. 8)

Mmmmmm, bong.

No really, I can't see myself turing into a reefer head again unless I go another long stretch without a job or sell a book or something.

As for the white lines, I don't think I have the capacity to turn them down at a party, but being married prohibits one from acting like a total loser and doing them on say, Tuesdays. My favorite quote about cocaine is that its a curious drug which makes you believe you will finally feel good if you have just one more line. Overall, half of me thinks cocaine is a pathetic drug for pathetic people who have too much money and not enough problems. But the other half of me really likes it.

E fucks with my head. I have imagined conversations, people, places, and other things on E that have never happened. Once in a while is okay, but overall I fear losing my sanity. Of course I had to take A LOT of it to get to that point. E's are good in moderation.

Speed turns criminals into killers and regular people into paranoid criminals. I can't see what the benefits to that are. I have only done it five times. I think that's enough.

Alcohol is the 'socially acceptable' drug because its legal and you gotta "pay as you go" with hangovers. I admit I drink a lot. I don't think I need to drink more in 2005 despite what Tommy says. For an Englishman, Tommy doesn't seem to handle drink very well. Half the time we have gone down the pub, he gets in arguments with girls, often calling the dumb or fat, and then dispappears without a trace. The last time I remember at the noc-noc, the waiter came up to Linda and asked, "Was that guy bothering you?", to which she replied. "Yes but its okay, he's my neighbor."

Coffee and cigarettes. This is the name of Rabbit's blog before he got married and turned to the Dark Side. Eric was very smart for such a young kid and realized that these are the drugs of the future. Don't smoke too much though or you will have yellow teeth and stinky breath and no one wants that.

Only a single experience with E, but I still had enough of an active SSRI (for headaches) that it thwarted the episode.

Watching other people do cocaine sucked most of the joy out of it for me; viscerally pathetic. But on the rarest of occasions, I'll do it because I rather enjoy just enough to equate to a pot of espresso consumed in one gulp. It's an insidious creature, though, and it's odd to me how some of us can take it or leave it while others crumble in its shadow.

I love a stiff cocktail at the end of the day, but one turned to three and it got expensive and fattening. I'm cuttin' the caolories from the Stoli's now. Rarely drink beer, though I love it, because of it frequently gives me a headache. Oh yeah, and there was that public intox charge over the holidays, which was the first time I'd ever seen the inside of a jail cell... and, no, I was not Scared Straight!

Hallucinogens, I love. In a meditational setting, salvia divinorum (which isn't technically a hallucinogen but gets a class of its own) is incredible, but it is far too intense to do more than once or twice a year. Psilocybin, ayahuasca and various entities found along The Poison Path... good for the soul. On psychedelics, Alan Watts said "Get the message. Hang up the phone." From time to time, I've found a wake-up call is in order... preferably under a canopy of stars.

Jose Cuervo.

From what I've read Red Bull is the drug of the future (or the present), and I read this in National Geographic; goddamn, I'm becoming my dad -- there's a great article on coffee for those lovers. I'm not one of em.

LA I'd like to say thanks. Posting has not been this much fun for me in quite some time.
