I second you on the why leaving the US think Marky...
of course; I'd also love to not wake up in the morning and be afraid to open my mouth and voice my opinions. Really, I probably should keep my mouth shut more often but you know, I can't resist a good argument ...
Additionally; it's always nice waking up next to someone you love and not cold and alone... that's always a shitty start to my day...

And when Bush wins re-election, you'll be triple glad you got out!
Whoops, I'm not supposed to talk that way, I know.
Sorry I couldn't help you about the 20s/30s Jazz. I do think jazz is a nice idea for a wedding. I remember taking part in a musical when I was in elementary school in which there were flappers and such but I can't remember anything about the music, now. Of course the name Glen Miller comes to mind, but I'm not sure if that's the kind of thing you're looking for.
"Don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing"? I wonder who originally did that song.

mmm... marriage. i suppose if you are trying to get citizenship or something you should just go and fill out the papers. but having a wedding with a jazz band and family and friends will only compound your problem later when you want out... and you will want out. bloody hell you will want out. you're still in school so you must be young, i really can't tell from the picture, you will change and change again and change again and maybe you won't want to live in london someday but you had this big wedding and it cost you lots of money and maybe if you just don't go after what you really want you can still be happy--wrong, you can't. don't compromise yourself at such a you age.
this is not bitterness talking, i have been there, made the mistake. and it wasn't that we weren't in love. we loved eachother, still do, always will, but not THE LOVE!!! Marriage kills any chance you have of finding THE LOVE!!!
and if you don't like waking up alone...get a cat.
