The Dead Kennedy's

Anybody like them? I used to have this friend named Andy Perseponko (great name) who was into them in 7th grade. He was ahead of his time. Jello is the man.

Dead Kennedys, absofuckinlutely.
The first time I heard them on the radio in like '85 I thought his voice was so funny. It was the song "We've Got A Bigger Problem Now" from In God We Trust, where the music gets all quiet and
then BLAM...it was just a hilarious song, particularly to a fired-up rebellious teenager's ears. I proceeded to get Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables...never checked out their later stuff
though. I was actually thinking of Jello recently. A friend had given me a spoken word disc of his a few years ago and it was rather difficult listening. Jello seems to have his heart in the right place but I do think sometimes
he just says things merely for their shock value.
