Primal Screamed

Post by Laura-Marie »

Hi,

Ive just arrived back from a 5 day festival (V2002).The atmosphere was hyped up and buzzing. I managed to get a few autographs from my idols which was even better than i had anticipated.
I noticed a few people on here liked primal scream. They played for 2 hours non-stop and were fantastic. ive never heard or seen anything like it. There's a bootleg available as of next week called e2002.

Well some might argue... but I would say the only two definite "must-have" Primal Scream albums are Screamadelica and Vanishing Point. The rest are for hardcore fans only.

No they are not popular at all in the US... I think they have only done one tour in the last 5 years and it was all small venues in like 5 cities. Indie dance bands like Primal Scream and Happy Mondays only have limited appeal in the commercial world of boy bands and nu-metal losers.

Oh right. I just got that impression because there was a big crowd of Americans who had come all the way too see them.

Thanks for that.

Well some americans travel to Afghanistan to join the Islamic jihad too... but that doesn't make it popular overall. There are 300 million of us stinkers and less than 1% have any idea who bobby g is. That is the real tragedy of 9/11.
