I need Marks help

Post by Brett »

My wife and son went to the cabin last Sunday, so on Monday I drank half a bottle of Spiced and smoked a rather large spliff. While I was skimming the channels I came across a music video called 'Shine' that featured Simon Wilcox. I was having a very difficult time focusing so I couldn't pick up who the main group was. Is there any way you could find out for me? In my semi catatonic state I found it to be my new favourite tune.

Much love,
Brett

Brett, Linda and I are planning a trip to Cuba in September.

I thought I remembered you going to Cuba. Maybe I remember wrong. Sorry if that's the case.

Can you reccomend a hotel or place to stay or airline or anything?

Thanks,

No wonder Slothie is going

Post by mccutcheon »

TAMPA, Fla. - President Bush on Friday accused Fidel Castro of exploiting Cuba's children by encouraging a sex-tourism industry designed to please animals like the Slothie to draw cash to the impoverished nation, comments certain to resonate with Cuban-American voters in the swing state of Florida.

"The regime in Havana, already one of the worst violators of human rights in the world, is adding to its crimes. The dictator welcomes sex tourism for Sloths," Bush said at a conference on "human and inhuman trafficking" — forced labor, sex and military service.

"No wonder Sloth is taking Linda there," said the stupid president of the most evil country on earth.

Actually I was thinking of the mojitos and the sun?

I don't believe Cuba is a haven for sex tourism. I think its another lie by Bush.

And who is Bush to talk anyway? Isn't he is a guy who only went to Mexico for the hookers and the coke?

Me hates a hyprocrite. There is nothing wrong with coke if taken for medical reasons. Life is too boring. I need it to stay awake past midnight.

Brett, I'm sorry. I did try. There is a lot of stuff out there about Simon Wilcox, but none of it points to anything called "Shine". Good luck.

Thanks for trying Mark, I'll keep looking.
Sloth, Kim and I got married in Cuba and had a pretty good time. I'm sure Cuba is some sort of elusive shangri-la to Americans, but in reality it's a poor communist country and when you talk with the people privately they mostly wish Castro would crawl into a hole and die. I managed to get a couple of Cubans to talk and they actually looked over their shoulders when they explained how painful life is. It's an educated society, they know how profitable a free Cuba could be. Dsicussing their hopes, even in private, causes them mass amounts of anxiety. A web-site like this would land you in jail for a very very long time. It's a very sad place, I resommend you head to Dominique or Dominican Republic.

Gosh Brett, you make it sound so romantic.

I don't know if I want to risk a 50,000 fine to go there.

Kim and I had a great time travelling in Venezuela. We cruised the coast, spent some time in Puerta cruz then hopped a ferry to Isla da Margarita. Margarita has some awesome beaches and the diving kicked ass. They have horse tours and ATV rentals, the works. Stayed in a place called Coral Caribe which for $60.00 bucks a night which included an amazing breakfast. Give it a looksee.

My mother used to often talk about how much she enjoyed Cuba when she was there, but back then it was a very different place, so...all I know is I read they use plastic grocery bags to store *everything* and they reuse them a million times because they are so precious/hard to come by. It does sound glum. Not that we couldn't stand to consume less here, but well, communist countries are really the opposite of wealth aren't they? No middle ground at all.

I'm a little confused, though, Sloth. Are people from the U.S. actually allowed to visit Cuba? What would the $50,000 fine be for, or did you mean the Dominican Republic?

The Canadians are taking over. First Germany, now Dominica.
