Enjoying Music

I have decided that I have lost the ability to LISTEN to music anymore.

I have this horrible thing about isolating every track in a song. The bass/drums/the synth/etc....Couting how many there are/listening to ONLY one at a time, etc....

Then-I think about what parts of other songs I can 'mash up' with a bass line here or a drum bit there....

Fuck it if I can't listen to anything in 'whole' anymore.

Were absynthe (sp.?) legal-I just might cut my ears off given the chance.

So-I've decided to stop listening to music all together.

Nice Morrissey quote Tom. I listened to his new album again about an hour ago. I have such terrible mixed feelings about him these days. Doesn't bear me going into, really. Let's just say he can take me to some really high heights and then...I just want to hear happy music for awhile, I guess.

'I know it's gonna happen'

from the 'your arsenal' album.

Course it's an outright lie-cause it's NEVER going to happen to me. And I'm tired of waiting. And I HAVE lost faith.

But other than that-

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!

(the bitterness in this post was purely for the sake of over-dramatization. The names have been changed to protect the innocent).
