my bloody valentine

Post by mccutcheon »

last night I went to the birthday party for loveless records. they had about twenty bands playing tribute to My Bloody Valentine. It was a waste of time. Twenty minutes to set up between each band, then they would come out and do an inferior version for a few minutes. As much as I am for supporting the shitty local bands around town the more I am for having everyone go out and by MBV records. the ametures just don't cut it. actually I am not for supporting the shitty local bands around town. just buy the original records.

actually I was in a pissed off mood that night. I have since meet with one of the owners of Loveless records and he is very cool indeed and his label rocks.

Look at this classic thread from so long ago.

I can't believe some of the stuff that is still up on this board from as long ago as this. I almost feel like I've just opened pandora's box. I believe this was back when I didn't come to this board at all. I don't know if I even knew about it. I'd almost rather not know that all this stuff is here because then I wouldn't have to think about "the decline of the board". What the hell happened to Jack Chieftan for starters?

I just assumed that this old stuff had been removed for space reasons, I never noticed it was here.
