WFMU Record Fair: Marky to McC

Post by marky »

Dude, you are lucky if you are even able to GO to the WFMU record fair (I'm not, obviously, due to geographical problems). When I think of record fairs, I can only wax nostalgic. Last time I went to one was in '90 I think, in Manchester, though I'd been to plenty in D.C./Maryland before that, even one in my hometown I think. I bought the very first Blur record (a 12") at a record fair, in fact. Before anyone would have dreamed they'd still be around today. Anyway, I thought about telling you to just take a credit card, but then realized with record fairs, that probably isn't going to work. I can relate to drunken spending sprees, and being broke. Sorry you had to miss it, but hey, there will be another one and you will be able to attend, unlike me!

Oh, I know what I wanted to ask you: Can you get WFMU on your radio? I mean I know they are in New Jersey, but can you hear them in NYC without listening on computer?

I never try to listen to the radio so I don't know if it is broadcast here.

I went to the record fair. Got some great stuff. Mark it is broadcast here. 91.1. I don't use my computer to listen to music. Prob the only one on PA who doesn't.
