The new CD by the Beta Band comes out Tuesday. I can hardly wait.

I've discovered I really like the non-Suzuki Can material from the late 70's (the CD of "Inner Space" coupled with "Out Of Reach"), and I've also become interested in this early 70's act Badfinger who were signed to the Beatles' label Apple and had some members that appeared on George Harrison's amazing first solo album "All Things Must Pass". Also, Joe Jackson ripped off one of their songs when he did "Breaking Us In Two" as a single just after the more famous "Steppin' Out" (with the piano in it, come on you guys know what song I mean from the early 80's)

Also, New Order have just released some recent BBC Radio One Sessions they did just prior to and around the time of their last album. But it's only available on import.

I've got a new job. Not just any job. The kind of job I wanted for at least three years. But I'll write more about this in another thread...

Thanks, McC. That really means a lot to me just to hear someone say that.
