don't get married just b/c your friends are married, ever. my mom said that's the worst mistake she ever made. you still have plenty of time. and marriage sucks anyway after about 5 to 10 years.
It seems sound advice to not do things just because those around you doing them. Unless it is jumping in lifeboats etc. Marriage was the making of me. It made me grow up (Eventually) and it made it OK for me to have kids. Which, until they hit the teen years, I am very pleased about.

they have marriage in other countries not just America, and it does work for some people, I guess it's all about timing. It does suck though that the US government gives such tax breaks for married couples, it seems like relgion, just another way to keep people in line.
why are you telling me to get used to it? i already am; it's all i've ever known with my parents. my mom married my dad for money and my cheats with 25 yr old secretaries with implants. i will never marry a politician like my mom did; they're all disgusting dirty old bastards.
