easy rider(Lazlo affiliation?)

so Mc, I was watching easy rider the other day, again, with a stoned twinkle in my eye and when the movie concluded i continued to stare at the credits running down the screen when a name, a very familiar name popped up: Lazlo Kovacks; photography or video? I forget which one, but could this have been the Lazlo I attacked in retaliation for him attacking ryan on the bb? Since I think Easy Rider is a superb film, it makes me all tingly inside to know that I verbally confronted someone involved in that picture. Could this be true?

I thought Laszlo Kovacks was Jean-Paul Belmondo's alias in his movies... could be wrong though.
