If it were possible for me to ignore my intense attraction to British music, if I had to live only with the U.S. stuff, and if we were to forget Blondie, who were so popular over there, I'd take Sonic Youth's "Goo" and "Dirty" albums to a desert island with me. I never even appreciated Sonic Youth until I saw them live.
Okay, that's all I'm going to say for now. Jesus, they featured on a Can tribute album, God bless them. When Sonic Youth were good they were REALLY good. Just my opinion.
