I'm DJing Kinkoras tomorrow nite. Should be some drunken fun. Kinkora's is the fav place for Pax Acidus to have a Guinness in Seattle.

Well, I got the job. So tonight I’m back again for another four-hour stint. I’ll be going on every Sat. night from 10pm- 2am (except major holidays like Saint Paddy’s weekend when my eyelids won’t see the light of day sober for 48 hours. Loads of Pax Acidus people were there--- Rosie, Maclean, Nicole, Julia, Lina, Christie, plus plenty of others who never made it into the Gallery. A special shout out to groupie/roadie Jon for the driving.

Last night was good. Rosie, Maclean and Mark all showed up. Plus Rene is the foxiest bartender in Seattle. We make a great team. I keep the music coming and she keeps the Guinness flowing down my throat.
Hope to see you all next Sat. nite.

can't see straight but go on in almost an hour! Sarah I need you? Ever feel lonely and lost? Me neither, but I have read some books, and it's when you feel fragil that you want the comfort of someone you never met.
and I'll be playing some fucking good music!

I heard about this from someone I've never met, so maybe it's the right song for you.
dancing where the stars go blue
dancing where the evening fell
dancing out on 7th street
dancing through the underground
are you happy now?
where do you go when you're lonely
where do you go when you're blue
where do you go when you're lonely,
I'll follow you
When the stars go blue

Next weekend, due to St. Paddy's, I'm on Friday night instead of Sat. Which is okay by me because these 3am Deejaying - 9am footie kickoffs are killing me. So anyway they are getting a band in on Sat. I'm on Fri where I'll be spinning The Pogues, The Pogues, The Pogues, and for a little variety, Shane MacGowan and the Popes.

Well last night was a bit wild, with so much Pouges I think I’ve lost a few teeth. I must have done a good job because they asked me to do it all over again tonight. I guess the band is on Sunday. I did a bit where I sampled Brad Pitt from the film Snatch with The Chieftains. (Not Jack) It went down well. I’m flowing in a river of Guinness and drowning from the pull. Kelsea, the beautiful 8 year-old-girl I live with, told me I need to work new hours. I wouldn’t mind a sunset shift on Ibiza, but those are hard to come by. I’m tough. Give me the alcoholic, smokey boozer all night long. See you in a few hours.

Last sat. nite was a blast, it was a warm summer like night and they opened the doors and the music poured out into one of the busiest streets in Seattle. I had these four girls dancing four five hours in the smoky shit hole I love to death. Zac came with Erin. Then Amanda came with her friend and started dancing with Jon. Mark was there and Christie showed up for a brief moment on her way to see Clinic. Thanks to the great music--Chemical Brothers, Primal Scream, Laurent Garnier, Kid Loco, and The Animals doing Ring of Fire!

These are a few of the top tunes McCutcheon is playing that get the biggest reaction. If you want to hear them with a pint in hand come down to Kinkoras tonight.
Billy Jean- Ian Brown
It’s all over now baby blue- Them
Stockholm- New Fast Automatic Daffodils
Denmark- The Chemical Brothers
Barely legal- The Strokes
Another one bites the dust- Queen
(or Bicycle Race for Jack)
Idiot wind- Bob Dylan
(or maybe Stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again- for Sarah)
Heard it through the grape vine- The Slits
Guns of Brixton- The Clash
Man needs to be told- The Charlatans
Camberwell skies- Basement Jaxx
Do it all over again- Spiritualized
Crimson and clover- Tommy James and the Shondells
Half a life- Hefner
Sylvia Plath- Ryan Adams
Ring of Fire- The Animals
Solitary man- Johnny Cash
Wasted- Orbital
Don’t fight it, feel it- Primal Scream
Plus loads more. And anything Sarah wants. Wouldn’t that list make a great compilation compact disc? If you want we can have everyone write in with a favorite song and I will compile the songs on disc and send them out to the faithful of the Pax Acidus B.B. For free of course.
And I was at the Pax Acidus store lately, just window shopping, I didn’t really want to buy anything and I see that The Sloth is asking $19.95 for three of my poems. I told him to charge $3. What a capitalist. At least I’m glad he thinks the poems are that good.
