Well, Nader is a Pisces w/ Capricorn Rising and I
think if I was gonna choose a good politician
astrologically speaking, I'd choose that combination anyday. But hopefully he has a good Libra\Venus type aspect in his chart as well.

Burnt Roof of Mouth
I don't think references to 9/11 are bad in and of themselves, it's how it's done. Personally I think I'd like to see it done with some subtlety,
some poetry, just anything out of the ordinary.
Congrats on your novel, McC, look forward to
reading the whole of it!

Ha ha! I can't believe you say the new Primal Scream is called Evil Heat, how apt a title could that be for you down there? I was just gonna mention how much the baseball strike disgusted me. Players...making an average of $2,000,000 a year going on strike for more money. What's wrong with this pict...

Well, Jack, just to clarify, I voted for Nader last time around. If I'd been in a state where Bush would have won (he didn't) I might have even regretted that. But I won't go there cause I don't have a firm opinion on it. All I know is that from a purely political science point of view, in a two par...

vinyl vs. CD's
McCutcheon-I'd be interested in hearing how you came to the conclusion that vinyl was the be all end all of life after CD's. What was the impetus, the reasoning, the force behind the action? I myself came to prefer CD's over vinyl after some time but mostly out of pure convenience...most of my vinyl...

I just got myself a beefed up computer finally and I am having a BALL with all the new things I can do!! Well it's been too long since anyone mentioned music here, so I'll drop my two cents in and say that I'm totally surprised by how good the new Coldplay album is. I never cared much about them before. I've just been playing it over and over and over. But my guess is no one else here would be much int...

I too have noticed a strange wave of marriages taking place around me. My good buddy Steve said recently he's getting married. Stuart got married. Sloth. My friend John, who'd been single for forever apparently finally met his match this summer. My good friend Ann and her husband just had a baby, an...

And let's remember. Most of the people in the U.S. didn't even vote for him. I wonder how possible it might be to get the constitution changed when the democrats are in power again so that this ridiculous electoral college business is done away with. Martino I saw a picture today of a poster display...

Oh no, please don't get me started about just how inane the Seattle Times is. Here we are on the brink of war and it is amazing what they will fill their front page with...plus their writers make the most embarassing grammatical gaffes and I'm not even an English major or anyone who's a stickler abo...

Well I dunno what to say about that. I work in social services and have just spent a fair amount of time trying to convince the person in charge to get tough about enforcing these types of rules. Is she getting away with it because she's who she is, or is there some other reason? Maybe we don't have...

Doonesbury comic strip was really good today... lampooning the ignorant stupidity of the average American about this war. There's only one thing to do of course... demonstrate. There will be a demonstration in Seattle on Sunday Oct. 6 and here's a website with a great name that tells about other dem...

INXS had two good albums. No actually...make that three. I can't knock 'em too hard. I just think that anyone, by the time they reach 91 has the right to say "enough". I mean us being as young as we are we can't imagine what it's like to be in a 91 year old body and all that entails. It's ...
