Sorry to rant...

PAX, I appologize for my going on and on. From music, sports and life, my thoughts sometimes get carried off in another direction. If this posting is offbeat from the rest......my bad! I hope all of you are doing well. I am going to try and finish my drunken evening by passing out with a couple more...

PJ: Love 'em....n'......come on people!!

PJ Lovers, Okay, okay...I (do) like Pearl Jam, and have for many years, but I still think anytime anyone with any influence, either politically or socially takes a stand on an important issue,.....those that follow need some direction in their life. Direction by honest people in that individuals lif...

Greenbay will lose.

Tommy, Go see the game, but keep in mind, Carson Palmer is "sick" when it comes to football. I'm not saying Cincinnati is the best team in the NFL, but they have the best quarterback.....(in the NFL)...assuming, he is playing his game like last year. I am rooting for the Bengals this year ...

STR.....using a quote...all must understand the meaning.

My previous quote in no way had any relation to food, as most hopefully understood. I simply meant one should not take in or believe all they hear. It's better to form an opinion than to agree with one. I hope that makes sense to all reading... Sorry to not have posted sooner, but I have been pre-oc...

Dumb American people...maybe..

I can't, or will not agree with the last quote, but..American people are fickle,..and we all consume, so those that produce are to be praised and those that consume are to be put on a diet. Propaganda is what I call bullshit that grew legs. The unfortunate part, is that it's running "fool"...

What a waste...

I was completely at a loss for words with the Wcup final. A good win...NO...a terrible loss...YES. France won that game in skill and ability for over a hundred (100) minutes. Losing in PK's is a joke. I love the French teams, but Zidane broke my heart whe he broke a sternum. (Break might be a little...

The Finals!

Exciting stuff coming up. France and Italy. Zidane (1) on PK, for the 1-0 win. Good game, but it could have been better. I think...maybe (3-1) France in the finals. We'll see. Any other PA ideas on this WCup final?

World Media..??

Okay, let's at least (first) admit that sports in general was globalized by the U.S. (commercialized...you do understand what I mean by that..I hope.) Secondly, of all "sports," soccer was the biggest before football, icehockey, baseball..etc.. To quote another Paxacidian: "Americans ...

$10 to the best better.

Alright, alright...I will stick with France to win,....BUT..if you pick the winning team (good luck), I will mail you $10 dollars if it isn't France. I think they have if again this year. Of course, it's just another biased opinion, but....the deal is on the table. SJ P.S- If you pick the wrong team...

Ahh...the French..

Sorry if anyone had the French down and out early. As a fan, I have to admit...I am quite content with their play this tourny. Granted, my opinion is a bit biased, but you have to admit...that game against Brazil was a GOOD one. Who was the #1 seed again?.?.? I forgot, ( I am a little buzzed)? Will ...

French soccer.

France has always had a good soccer team. No need to argue that point. Granted, there are other countries that can hold their own, but the French have always been in the hunt and (over the years), have finished better than average. Signing off now....

And the U.S loses....to bad

Although I'd like to see the United States do better in the W.C, it seems that's where they were playing today. (..sorry, little french joke) Not much of an effort from what I could see on tv. They were outrun and outgunned(spelling...sorry) on the front line, by a team they could have beat. The U.S...

Anytime Tommy

In all honesty, I had forgotten about my posting, (might have been a little drunk at the time,) but I am always willing to discuss failed relationships. It seems I have a knack for finding the wrong women to date or marry. Oh well, way it goes.
