Right on McCutheon. Galaxie 500? I'll have to chech em out. If there is one thing I know about a lot of Neil fans, it is that they have a very eclectic taste in music

I must be on crack, did I say land of the Dead by Burroughs? I meant "The Place of Dead Roads". It is about a homosexual cowboy/gunfighter on his quest for serenity in a land that has been deemed lost.

God damnit, i'm libertarian, if you knew anything about the party you'd refrain from making such presumptious comments in the future. I would also like to say that Jack London was a great madman who wrote with drunken energy, although he was good at manipulating the masses.

Well, since this is a literature forum, and yes there were politics slightly discussed in the above, I shall make you happy twice. I believe that literature is dead. Or at least it has been hibernating for about 30-40 years or so. With the exception of William Burroughs "Land of the Dead" ...

Lets just say that when i'm 55 i hope i got the sack to express myself like he still does. Did anyone see his show in Milwaukee, early september, or red rocks a week later? If you did, then you are a sucker like me because his set list was exactly the same, give or take a few fucking songs.

Neil YOung: artist or advocate of dirtyness?
I would have to say that his music is very raw and edgy. He is an artist and a man i can relate to. I am not an e poppin rave dancer, nor a good lookin chap who goes to see dave matthews, nor a blatant hippy who likes to see Phish. By the way, none of that music turns me on. To hear Neil is to liste...

Your use of metaphors is predictable, and the rave dance theme is present.....but what i think doesn't matter man, the poem is what you make of it.

Isn't this supposed to be about literature? I think there are other places we can all talk about our political ignorances. But if the topic is here, I am a strong libertarian, doomed to be shameless in my pity of trying to understand politics, because none of it really matters anyway.
